Activities:
Lap Song: Put your child in your lap facing you. On the first line, āOne two Peek-a-boo,ā cover your eyes and remove them for āpeek-a-boo.ā Point to your child, then at yourself for āyou see me,ā and the opposite for āand I see you.ā Point to the part on his/her face on the next line, then cover your eyes again and remove them for the last line. You can take suggestions- āwhatās another part of your face?ā and repeat, such as eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, chin, forehead, etc.
Anatomy/ Color in the Picture: Color the picture of āPeek-a-Booā in the coloring page, using this opportunity to teach your child about anatomy by pointing to different parts of the body on the coloring book page and have your child color them in.
